The Palladium Lyceum is established by Philip Doukas, John and Nicholas Megareas in Kypseli

Angelos Terzakis enrolls in the first grade of the Practical Jr. High School
1923

Konstantinos Karamanlis enrolls in Grade 4 of the eight-level Practical Jr. High School
1933

Philip Doukas takes over the reins and renames the School, Megareos School "Prometheus" Philip N. Doukas
1935

The Kindergarten is established
1941

The School suspends its operation. The facilities are requisitioned by the occupying forces
1945

The School resumes its operation
1950

The School suspends its operation once again
1952

With the common consent of father and son, Philip and Konstantinos Doukas, the Palladium Lyceum N. Doukas is established
1960

After the death of Konstantinos Doukas, Philip Doukas’ second son, Ioannis, takes over
1961

The Kindergarten and Primary schools move to the new premises on Agathoupoleos Street in Kypseli from Androu Street
1965

The first senior prom takes places on the recommendation of Ioannis Doukas’ wife, Irene
1968

The death of Philip N. Doukas sends shockwaves through the School
1970

Doukas School – Palladium Lyceum begins its operation in Paradissos, Maroussi
1972

Ioannis P. Doukas becomes the director of the six-level secondary school
1975

Collaboration is established between the School and Belgian education professor, André Dehant. His innovative system "Modern Mathematics" is launched simultaneously in the Kindergarten and the primary school and is taught at the latter.

Ioannis P. Doukas undertakes the management of the Lyceum
1978

The Gymnasium is annexed to the School, thus expanding the facilities. The new premises house specialized classrooms.

The ASED Athletic Club of Doukas School is established
1981

The ASED Athletic Club wins the 1st National Junior Championship in Handball
1983

The Department of Informatics is established in 1983, headed by the Assistant General Director, Konstantinos I. Doukas

Eleni I. Doukas, Educational Psychologist, becomes the Director of the Kindergarten

The GCE (General Certificate of Education - A Levels) Department begins it operation

Irene I. Douka becomes Director of the Jr. High School

Doukas School organizes the 1st National Conference on Preschool Education

The School celebrates its 70 year anniversary at the Athens Hilton

The Alumni Association of Doukas School (SAED) is established

Doukas Schools organizes the 1st Panhellenic Conference on Educational Informatics

The school celebrates its 75 year anniversary at the Peace and Friendship Stadium

The Department of Vocational Guidance and Career Development is established

Doukas Schools organizes the 2nd Panhellenic Conference on Educational Informatics

The Academy of Athens awards Doukas School for the publication of the book Monuments of Orthodoxy in Albania

The 1st annual Panhellenic Student Internet Competition ‘Lysias’ is established

Eleni Douka-Patera takes over as director of the Primary School

The 80 year anniversary celebrations host various cultural events. Stephen Korkolis’s concert tops the events

Doukas School undertakes the construction of a monument dedicated to the Greek Teacher in Madrid Square (adjacent to the Hilton Hotel)

The Medal of the City of Athens is awarded to Ioannis P. Doukas

The School celebrates its 85 year anniversary at the OAKA Stadium

The International Baccalaureate Department is established

Ioannis P. Doukas is proclaimed a Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms

Accreditation begins for the Department of Foreign Languages from the international quality organization, Eaquals

Konstantinos I. Doukas becomes Director of the Lyceum

The School celebrates its 90 year anniversary at the Pallas Theatre

The program ‘School of the Future’ is implemented for the first time in the Greek educational system

The Department of Foreign Languages becomes an Associate Member of EALTA, the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment

The BTEC Foundation in Art & Design begins its operation

The School organizes the International Educational Conference entitled "The School of the Future ad the Future of the School "

The School receives the distinction ‘EFQM Excellence Award’ from the European Foundation for Quality Management

The ASED Handball team wins the 3rd Greek Cup and is proclaimed champion Greece as is the teen Football Futsal team of ASED

The Kindergarten is awarded for its participation in the International Network for Environmental Education by the Greek Society for the Protection of Nature

The French Institute honors Doukas School for its promotion of the French language

The Kindergarten and Elementary Schools receive the "Eco School" flag award as part of the Environmental Education International Network
